UMBEL is completely non-commercial, though commercial entities may use the project's work products and ontologies with attribution.

Voluntarily Supported
The creation and evolution of UMBEL is done and supported by the UMBEL community that is composed of voluntary users. Membership and participation is open and free for anybody.
Sponsorships are welcomed, but at not being actively solicited.
