All registered users of the UMBEL wiki are welcomed and encouraged to make modifications and add content to this site. We request you follow these simple guidelines:

Editing Assistance

Basic instructions on how to do general wiki editing or other tips may be found on this site under editing help and general help. There are also some great resources to convert documents in various formats to MediaWiki and vice versa under the Wiki_converters link.

Assign to Categories

Please become a bit familiar with the major categories of this wiki site, as shown to the left.

If you create a new page, please assign it to its appropriate category by placing:

  [[Category:CatName]]

at the top of any newly created page.

Note the square brackets allow you to refer to an existing category; if you use curly brackets (not shown) you actually introduce an entire new category (use sparingly if at all!!).
